Thank you to all those families who joined us last Friday evening at our Family Picnic – it was a lovely balmy evening and a great opportunity for us all to connect with one another.
A very special thank you to our dynamic P&F duo Rachel Davies and Larissa Shaw, who organised the sausage sizzle and drinks, and to their respective husbands and children, who all lent a helping hand cooking, setting up and packing away. To other P&F members and staff members an equally big thank you also – your presence and generous service of our community is very special and greatly appreciated.
It was really great to see families reaching out in friendship to new faces and families – thank you for the consideration you showed, as it really helped to make new families feel welcome.
I think you will agree that Anna Dabbs (Mr Nick Dabbs’ talented daughter) did a fantastic job playing and singing for us throughout the evening. At just 17 she certainly has a promising future ahead!
It is always wonderful when we have an opportunity to come together as a community – thank you so much for making the effort and for the generous, positive and caring ways you interacted on the night – it means so much.
