Welcome to Pre Primary

Welcome to Pre Primary

Through the everyday things that we do lies an opportunity for learning.  Our Early Years curriculum focuses on three main areas: ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’. With a play based focus, student learn about their place in the world and community. They learn how to interact with others, take turns, manners, sharing and many other social skills. Welcome to Pre Primary!

Rice and PJ Day

Rice and PJ Day

Raising awareness for those living off one bowl of rice a day, struggling for food and/or possibly homeless, students took part in our annual Rice Day and Pyjama Day which was established in 2019. Students raised money to help those who are less fortunate in our community. All proceeds go towards helping our LifeLink agencies.

Mud Incursion

Mud Incursion

Students had a blast at our recent Mud Incursion. This incursion focusses on sensory risk taking and creative thinking. During the incursion, groups were sent out one at a time to engage in a number of stations which included:

  • Making and decorating mud pies;
  • Sculpting with art clay, stoneware clay and natural materials;
  • Farm clay that was red and bit sandy and slippering for sliding on and to feel oozing through our toes;
  • Natural clay based face paint; and
  • Water play (no clay) and beautiful goblets and bowls.

We are proud of our children and all that they achieve and share with them a great pride in our school.
